LoanPro's cross-tenant account transfer tool automatically moves loan data from one tenant to another, making it particularly useful for clients with multiple production tenants. It allows you to create and manage loans in a dedicated origination tenant. Once a loan is approved, it can be moved to a servicing tenant based on the logic you define. This setup keeps processes for origination and servicing separate, but ensures a smooth handoff.
Start using cross-tenant account transfer
The initial configuration of the cross-tenant transfer tool requires support from the LoanPro team; however, this process is collaborative and considers your unique lending operations. Here's an overview of the setup:
- Reach out to your LoanPro contact to start the process. Keep in mind, you must have at least 2 production tenants to use this tool.
- Determine which information should be transferred to the servicing tenant.
- Define the parameters for loan transfer.
- LoanPro's support team configures the tool and sets up the connection between tenants and sets up a trigger in LMS according to your logic.
When it's time to start the process, your LoanPro contact will confirm that you have two tenants available and help create a plan to implement this tool.
Next, they will help you decide which loan information you'd like to transfer. The data transfer is customizable, meaning you can choose to transfer all available options below or select specific ones. The data that can be transferred includes:
- Loan creation
- Customer
- Primary address
- Mailing address
- Phone
- ACH payment profile
- Customer custom fields
- Create an AutoPay
- Loan Settings custom fields
- Loan and Customer documents
After determining which information should be moved to the second tenant, you’ll work with the support team to identify what triggers the move. This could be a status change, enhanced funding, loan activation, or other events. Once the parameters are set, the support team will complete the configuration, and loans that meet the criteria in the first tenant will be automatically transferred to your second tenant.
After setup, the tool operates automatically—no ongoing maintenance is needed. If you'd like to make any changes, reach out to your LoanPro contact again, and they will be happy to help.
