How can we help?

Using Quick Actions

How agents can access and use your custom Quick Actions.

As we explain in our article on configuring them, Quick Actions streamline and automate your management processes for line of credit accounts. This article will explain how individual agent users can access and use Quick Actions within an account.

There are two types of Quick Actions that can be initiated on an account: automatic and guided.

  • Automatic Quick Actions will, as the name implies, automatically complete the configured process on an account with just a click of a button.
  • Guided Quick Actions walk the user through the process by taking them through different pages in the account and displaying detailed instructions on what to do in each page.

If your Automatic Quick Actions were set up using event-based or trigger-based notifications to set them off, they’re fully automated, and won’t even require an agent to kick off the process.

Accessing Quick Actions

Quick Actions can be found in the Smart Panel within an individual account. Navigate into an account and click ‘Automations’ in the Smart Panel on the right side of the page.

Three conditions need to be met for the user and the account in order for a Quick Action to appear on this page:

  • The user must be assigned to a Quick Action group that has the Quick Action enrolled.
  • The account must be using a program that has the Quick Action enrolled.
  • The account must qualify for the Clojure rule associated with the Quick Action.

Once these conditions are met, the Quick Action will be displayed. Click the play button to start it on the account. (And for details on enrolling agents and programs, read Configuring Quick Actions.)

Using Quick Actions

When you click on the Quick Action, you'll first be brought to a summary screen that will show the user what the Quick Action will do and ask them to confirm if these are the actions they want to make on the account.

The action types and the descriptions associated with them will be displayed for the user to review. Clicking ‘Start’ will start the Quick Action and go through each of the steps in the order that it was configured in.

After the Quick Action is completed, the user will automatically be taken to the Summary tab of the account.

Similar to Agent Walkthroughs, Quick Actions will temporarily give users access to all of their screens and actions while they're performing the guided action. Once the quick action is complete, the user will have their original access settings and no longer be able to access that part of the software.
