Smart Panel

Configure your most common servicing options into the Smart Panel to streamline your agents' workload.

The Smart Panel helps agents more quickly find the information most important to them, displayed on the right side of the screen as they navigate through different pages. Smart Panels are dynamic, meaning they can be customized based on loan attributes and accessed according to specific criteria.

Using the Smart Panel within an account

Access to the Smart Panel is simple. As you open up a loan, the Smart Panel will open automatically on the right hand side of your screen.

The entire panel or individual highlights can be collapsed if you wish to minimize it.

Configuring Smart Panels

Configuring a Smart Panel View requires the following steps:

  1. Create a Smart Panel View.
  2. Create a Smart Panel Group.
  3. Add Smart Panel Views to a Group.
  4. Assign the Smart Panel Group to the Agent User.

To create or edit a Smart Panel, first navigate to Settings > Company > Access > Loan Views > Smart Panel. There, you'll see a list of all your current panels, as well as a button letting you add new ones.

When you add or edit a Smart Panel, you'll see this window with your configuration options. At the top are basic settings:

  • Name: A name for the panel.
  • Status: Whether the panel is active or inactive.
  • Default View: Whether this panel is the default.
  • Qualification Rule: A Clojure rule that determines when the panel will be visible.

The lower half of the screen lets you select and order the different widgets that the panel comprises. The left side of the screen shows the available options, and the right side shows the ones you've selected. You can edit or remove your selected widgets with the icons on the right, or drag-and-drop to reorder them.

Available widgets

There are two types of widgets, standard and custom, with the difference being that custom widgets will allow you to customize them further. For example, the customers widget (standard) will always list the customers linked to the account. The checklist widget (custom) lets you configure which Smart Checklists will be displayed in the panel.

Standard widgets:

  • Source Company
  • Promises
  • Portfolios
  • Notes
  • Linked Accounts
  • Flags
  • Documents
  • Customers
  • Collaterals
  • Actions & Results

Custom widgets:

  • Context Variables
  • Checklist
  • Agent Walkthrough

Smart Panel Groups

Smart Panels views are only visible on a loan when certain conditions are met. The Smart Panel must be added to a Smart Panel Group that is viewable by the current Agent User, and the loan must meet the Qualification Rule.

To configure the Smart Panel Groups, navigate to Settings > Company > Access > Loan Views > Smart Panel Groups.

Under the “Smart Panel Groups” tab, you can customize a list of Smart Panel Views. You can add multiple views to one group ensuring the agent has access to any view they might need. To create a new Group, click “Add”, then give the Group a name and select the views you would like to include.

When you include more than one view, the group will use the Evaluation Order. Here, you can determine which view takes priority. If an agent is assigned this group, and the loan meets the criteria for both of the views, the view in position #1 will be what the agent sees. If the loan does not qualify for #1, then the agent will see the view in position #2. To change the Evaluation Order, click and drag the views to reposition them.

When you're ready for the group to be used, click “Save” and ensure the Group's status is active. Finally, grant Agent Users access to the Group by editing their Agent User profile.
