Reports overview

Get unfettered access to your data with LoanPro's reporting tools.

LoanPro has a variety of tools to make generating and exporting reports easy and efficient. Reports fall under two categories: tenant-level reports and loan-level reports. Within the UI, a user can search for loans using filters and advanced searching options, generate a report from search results, and export it. This article will explain what reports are available and how to search for and export them.

Tenant-level reports

Tenant-level reports provide a view of the company as a whole. They retrieve data from all of the loans in your company account. There are four different types of tenant-level reports that you can generate:

  • Administration: These reports are geared toward managers. They offer broad, big-picture data that can be used to steer your entire team.
  • Servicing: Servicing reports include Delinquency Reports and Insurance Tracking Reports. Delinquency reports will show loans with past-due amounts. Insurance Tracking reports will let you search for accounts with expired insurance, no insurance, or both.
  • Transaction history: All the reports related to transaction history. This is the largest category by far with 20 different reports available.
  • Forecast: Reports for payments that were scheduled in the past or are slated for the future.

Loan-level reports

Loan-level reports cover information that is specific to each loan. There are five categories of reports within the loan account that you can view:

  • Live Amortization Schedules: These reports will give an overview of the loan account and information dealing with payments.
  • Admin Stats: The admin stats report gives you general information about the performance of a single account.
  • Daily Snapshot: Daily Snapshot will show you specific account information every day that the account exists.
  • Calculated: These reports all show calculated data (all available data) as opposed to snapshot data (data from one specific day). They will use the current data in the account to generate a new report.
  • Delinquency: This report gives you a comprehensive overview of the delinquency on a loan.

Line of credit reports

Line of credit reports are available to simplify your internal reporting or to help you communicate with sponsor banks. These reports can be accessed in the Report File Hub or another location of your choosing (SFTP, or Google Drive). There are four categories of reports:

  • Charge-off: Summaries and detailed reports of all charge-offs on an account.
  • Delinquency: Overviews of all delinquencies as well as detailed reports organized by the number of days past due.
  • Transactions: Reports of all transaction types on an account such as credits, fees, finance charges, payments, swipes, and reversed payments.
  • Additional reports: Reports related to customer information, disputes, fraud, historical loan data and settlements.

Generating and exporting reports

Reports can be generated manually or automatically at a set frequency. Depending on the type of report, you’ll either use the Reports (tenant-level) tab or the Account Manager (loan-level).

Reports tab

Tenant-level reports are generated using the Reports tab. When you click the tab, you have the option to choose Servicing, Transaction History, Forecast, or Administration. Each of the report are broken down in further detail in their respective articles linked above. Below are step-by-step instruction for exporting a report from the Reports tab.

Scheduling reports in the Reports tab

Tenant-level reports can be automatically generated via the Reports tab. To set up a schedule report, navigate to your desired report and use the search options to determine what information should be included. Next, click the ‘Data Options’ drop down and select ‘Schedule Report’.

Next, input the following information:

  • Report Name: This is the name of the report so you can distinguish it from other reports.
  • Notify Users: This is if you want to notify an agent or user (you would enter in their name).
  • Date: This is when you want the report to be initiated on (you can use the calendar option to select a specific date)
  • Time: The time you want the report to be initiated on.
  • Repeat Execution: You can choose if you want the report to be repeated with the following options:
    • Annually
    • Bi-Weekly
    • Daily
    • Last Day of Month
    • Monthly
    • Quarterly
    • Weekly
  • Report Output: You can choose to either have the report saved as a downloadable CSV file or sent to a Queue.

Click ‘Save’ and the report will generate according to the criteria entered.

Using the Account Manager

The Account Manager can pull reports on any combination of loans in the tenant. Generally, the filter on the manager is set to display all loans that are not currently archived. This is indicated by tab(s) on the search bar.

Whatever filters are in place will determine which loans are included in the report. You can leave the filters as is and pull a report for all loans in your account, or you can use the filters to narrow down your pool to accounts that meet specific criteria. Once you have your desired list, click the three dots in the top right corner and select ‘Export to CSV’.

Once the report has been generated, click the three dots again and select ‘Generated Reports’. Here, you will see a list of reports that are available for download.

Scheduling reports in the Account Manager

To schedule a report that will pull automatically, open the Account Manger and filter your accounts to meet the criteria you desire (following the same steps listed above). Then, click the three dots and select ‘Schedule Report’.

  • Report Name: This is the name of the report so you can distinguish it from other reports.
  • Notify Users: This is if you want to notify an agent or user (you would enter in their name).
