Create a Collector Queue (New)

General

The  collector queue is designed to help you assign work to your collections employees. The collector queue lets you easily designate a group of loans that need collections performed on them and then assign that group to one of the users in your company.

To create a new collector queue, navigate to the Loan Manager or any report that includes the Data Options drop-down. For the purposes of this article, we will start from the Loan Manager.

You can send the loans from your search results in the Loan Manager to a collector queue. First,  search for the loans that you want to send to the queue. Then, to send them to the queue, select the Collector Queue option from the Data Options drop-down. Once selected, all loans currently being pulled in the Loan Manager will be sent to your Collector Queue.

Please note that through utilization of the search options in the left hand column, you can tailor the list of loans sent to the Collector Queue to only include those loans you desire. For example, you can restrict the Loan Manager to only show loans that fit within a certain delinquency bracket, or that are assigned to a specific source company.

Collector Queue Setup

Once you’ve chosen the accounts you will add to the queue, you will need to enter some basic information about the queue. Enter a name for the collector queue in the Title field. Then select what List Type you want for the queue.

'Static' means that the list of loans initially loaded into the queue will remain unchanged throughout the entirety of collections.

'Dynamic' means that the loan list will be updated to remove any loans that no longer meet the set parameters used to generate the initial list. For example, if your list includes all past due loans, and a payment is made that brings a loan in the queue current, that loan will be removed as a user moves through the queue. Note: the dynamic list will never grow, so loans that did not originally qualify for the initial search will NOT be added later.

If the loan is removed because it no longer qualifies based on the parameters of the original search, it will be marked as completed as part of the queue. A note will be added to the loan to show that it was removed from the queue because it no longer qualified. When navigating backwards through the queue, skipped loans will be visible. A notification will pop up when the loan loads to show that the loan was skipped by the system.

The list of loans does not pull a new query to accomplish this. That means loans will be removed, but never added to the queue once it is created.

Select which users the queue should be assigned to from the Available Agents box.

Note: Only users (agents) assigned to the queue will be able to access it.

If more than one user is assigned to the queue, then choose the Strategy. 'Tag Team' allows the assigned users to work through the entire queue until it is finished.

'Random Assignment' allows you to assign certain percentages of the queue to each of the users. Note: The percentages must add up to 100%. Once these options are set, click .

This page allows you to sort the loans and order them if based on the options provided. After you select a "Sort By" option you can choose to put the loans in Ascending or Descending order. Ascending sorts the smallest to largest (amounts), newest to oldest (dates) or A to Z (text). Descending is the opposite.

Click the done_all checkmark to apply the Sort By and Order selections to all users. Then, click .

The summary page shows an overview of the collector queue allowing you to double-check everything to make sure it is correct. If the queue is set up as desired click to save the queue.

Create New Queue Through CSV

You can access to queue to make changes and also create new queues by navigating to Tools > Collector Queue. Click the button to open the wizard.

On this page, you have the option to upload a list of loans via a csv file, or you can go to the Loan Manager page and run a search to select the loans you want to add to the queue.

Upload CSV

To create your CSV file, simply add one header to the file. The header should be either "id" or "displayId" depending on how you will identify the loans in the file. You can also download a sample csv file to help with creating a list of loans if needed.

Add the appropriate headers and then list the loan ID or display ID for each loan that you want to add to the queue. Either drag the CSV file to the drop zone, or click the drop zone to browse for the file. Once the file is uploaded, it will automatically be validated. Once this is complete, click Next and continue the process as outlined above.

Create Collector Queue through Scheduled Report

You also have the ability to create a collector queue through scheduling a report in the Loan Manager. Navigate to Loan Manager > Data Options > Schedule Report.

Set all of the necessary scheduled report information, and at the bottom you can choose to have the loans pulled for the report be sent to the collector queue tool.

After clicking Continue, you will be taken to the collector queue setup wizard to set up the queue.

Note: If you navigate to the Reports section of LoanPro, you have the ability to create and set up a collector queue by scheduling reports with all of the reports except the custom query and special reports.
