Roles Options

In our latest release, LoanPro updated the Role Access Resources Tree. There used to be some overlap between customer settings in Loan View and Users. Our update clarifies that editing options for individual customers are housed within Loan View, and access to the Customer Manager itself is housed in Users.

You can control access for your users inside LoanPro. This article gives a brief explanation of what each of the access options for a role does. In the LMS UI, navigate to Settings > Company > Access > Roles, and then add or edit a role. On the editing screen, you'll see this resource tree:

Selecting a parent category also selects everything within it; giving a role Company View will give them full access to everything in the system.

Because the resource tree offers such granular control over user access, this article is rather lengthy. We recommend using CTRL + F to search on the page for any specific roles options.

Administrative Reports

Administration reports are geared toward managers. They offer broad, big-picture data that can be used to steer your entire team.

Grants access to Administration Reports section. Checking this box will let this role use all the administrative reports.

Special Report

Grants access to the Special Report. The special report lets the user create a file to transact payments through a flat-file-based system.

Custom Query Report

Grants access to the Custom Query Report. The custom query lets the user generate a report of any static loan and customer data.

Calculated Interest Accrual Report

Grants access to the Calculated Interest Accrual Report.

Reverse Calculated Laon Archive Report

Grants access to the Reverse Calculated Loan Archive Report. This report shows numbers and other loan information for specific days in the past as calculated with all currently available data.

Historical Loan Archive Report

Grants access to the Historical Loan Archive Report. This report shows numbers and other loan information for specific days as the information existed on those days.

Static Pool Report

Grants access to the Static Pool Report. This report shows the health of a pool of loans over time.

Business Summary Report

Grants access to the business summary report.

Servicing Reports

Servicing includes delinquency and insurance reports.

Grants access to the Delinquency Report. This report shows loan delinquency.

Insurance Report

Grants access to the Insurance Report. This report shows insurance policy expiration.

Transaction History includes all the reports related to transaction history. This is the largest category by far with 20 different reports available.

Advancements Report

Grants access to the Advancements Report. This report shows a record of advancement of funds (except on the date a loan was created) and credits. Credits represent forgiveness of a portion of loan principal.

Credits Report

Grants access to the Credits Report. Credits represent forgiveness of a portion of loan principal.

Escrow Estimated Disbursement

Grants access to the Escrow Estimated Disbursement Report. This is a report of estimated disbursements for all loans.

Escrow Transaction Report

Grants access to the Escrow Transaction Report. This is a report of escrow transactions for all loans.

System Notes

Grants access to the System Notes Report. This report shows notes logged by LoanPro when changes are made.

Loan Alert History

Grants access to the Loan Alert History Report. This report shows changes made to loan alerts.

Charge Off History

Grants access to the Charge Off History Report. This report shows charge-offs for all loans. A charge-off is a portion of the loan principal that has been deemed uncollectible.

Days Past Due Report

Grants access to the Days Past Due Report. This report shows the number of days past due for all loans.

Amount Past Due Report

Grants access to the Amount Past Due Report. This report shows the amount past due for all loans.

New Accounts

Grants access to the New Accounts Report. This report shows newly created loans in LoanPro by date.

Reversed Payments Report

Grants access to the Reversed Payments Report. This report shows payments reversed for all loans.

Suspend/Resume Interest

Grants access to the Suspend/Resume Interest Report. This report shows all elections to stop or restart accruing interest on each loan.

Promises Report

Grants access to the Promises Report. This report shows the record of promises made by customers for each loan.

Notes Report

Grants access to the Notes Report. This report shows notes created by users for each loan.

SMS Report

Grants access to the SMS Report. This report shows a history of SMS messages sent to customers on each loan.

Due Date Changes Report

Grants access to the Due Date Changes Report. This report shows a history of due date changes for each loan.

Funding Report

Grants access to the Funding Report. This report shows a record of each loan funded using LoanPro’s funding tool.

Charges Report

Grants access to the Charges Report. This report shows a history of charges logged for all loans.

Payment Breakdown Report

Grants access to the Payment Breakdown Report. This report shows payments made on all loans and how those payments were allocated between interest, principal, fees, escrow, etc.

Forecast Reports

Forecast reports show payments that were scheduled in the past or are slated for the future.

Scheduled Payments Report

Grants access to the Scheduled Payments Report. This report shows payments that are scheduled for future days. These are the originally-scheduled payments on a loan and don’t take actual payment history into account.

Forecast Payment Report

Grants access to the Forecast Payments Report. This report shows forecast payments for each loan. Forecast payments are different from scheduled payments in that they take into account the loan payment history when calculated.
