Create a New Reminder

General

Reminders are a good way to notify yourself or others of tasks, meetings, events, etc. that will occur in the future. These reminders are sent through LoanPro’s internal Notification Center.

How To Create a Reminder

In LoanPro, you can create a reminder anywhere inside your company account by clicking the bell icon at the top right of the screen.

You can also create a reminder from the Notification Center. To do this, navigate to Tools > Notification Center.

You can create a new reminder in the notification center either by clicking   or by clicking Calendar view. To create a new reminder through the calendar, click on the date when you want the reminder to be sent.

Regardless of the way you choose to create the reminder, you will see the Reminder dialog box.

Enter the following information to create the reminder:

  • Title – This is the title of the reminder and will be shown when the reminder is received either by you or by the agent(s) the reminder is assigned to.
  • Agent(s) – Choose the Agent User(s) (employee(s) in your company) that should receive the reminder. If you click in the “Select an agent” field, you will be shown a list of the agent users in your company. You can also type keywords into the field to filter which agent users will be shown.
  • Date and Time – Specify the date and time of the task, meeting, or event the reminder is about. If you don’t want to specify a duration, you can enter the same date and time in both sets of fields. The date and time in the first set of fields will determine when the reminder will be sent.
  • Repeat – If the reminder is for a regular meeting, event, or task, you can choose to have the reminder repeat. If you click Repeat, you will see the repeat dialog box.

This dialog box lets you choose one of five options from the Repeats drop-down menu. The options are: Once, Daily, Every weekday, Monthly, and Yearly. The default is to simply have the reminder sent once.

If you choose Daily, you can set the reminder to repeat every X number of days, where you specify the number of days. You can also specify a date for when the first instance of the reminder will occur. And you can specify either a number of occurrences or a date, after which the reminder will no longer repeat.

If you choose Every weekday, you can set the reminder to repeat only on specific days of the week. Choose the days on which the reminder should be sent by checking the boxes next to those days. You can also specify a date for when the first instance of the reminder will occur. And you can specify either a number of occurrences or a date, after which the reminder will no longer repeat.

If you choose monthly, you can set the reminder to repeat every X number of months, where you specify the number of months. You can also specify a date for when the first instance of the reminder will occur. And you can specify either a number of occurrences or a date, after which the reminder will no longer repeat.

If you choose yearly, you can set the reminder to repeat every X number of years, where you specify the number of years. You can also specify a date for when the first instance of the reminder will occur. And you can specify either a number of occurrences or a date, after which the reminder will no longer repeat.

Once you have made your repeat choices, click .

  • Loan ID – Enter a loan ID in the provided field if you want the task to be associated with a specific loan. A drop-down with available loan IDs will appear and be filtered as you type.
  • Details – These are the details of the meeting, event, or task. Enter anything that will help you or the future recipient of the reminder understand the reason for the reminder.

After you enter the information for the reminder, click  to save it. You are done!
