Default Log Cash/Physical Check Payment Process

General

A major function of LoanPro software is to make common company processes as streamlined and effective as possible, to save users on time and manpower. This article will cover how this is generally accomplished with the Log Cash/Physical Check Payment process.

Starting the Process

The Default Log Cash/Physical Check Payment Process is used to record a cash/physical check payment made by a borrower on their loan account.

Enter the specific loan account where the payment is to be recorded and navigate to the 'Wizards' tab. Select the 'Category' drop-down and click 'Payment Processing'.

The account must be in an 'Open' status in order to access the wizard. Click  and  on the 'Log Cash/Physical Check Payment' wizard to begin the process. 

On this page, follow the instructions provided to log a manual payment on the loan account. Make sure to change the payment type to 'Payoff' if this is a payoff payment. Save the payment and click  to proceed. 

Choose an appropriate Action & Result, then document a note with any additional necessary information regarding the logged payment. Save the information and click   to complete the wizard and the process.
