Create a New Escrow Transaction Category

General

You can log transactions that represent withdrawals and deposits to escrow buckets on individual loans. Additionally, you can assign these transactions to a category to help you more easily keep track of them. This article will cover how to create or edit an escrow transaction category.

Creating a Transaction Category

Creating a transaction category is easy. Navigate to Settings > Loan > Escrow > Transaction Categories inside your company account.

Click 'Add' to add a new category. You also can click the edit icon to the right of the categories to edit an existing category. Enter a name for the category in the field provided.

Click 'Save' to save the new category.

In Practice

You will be able to use your new categories in the Loan Settings > Escrow section of an individual loan.
