Loan Documents

LoanPro allows you upload documents for loan accounts. This will help you manage documents that are relevant to specific loans or leases. Loan documents are slightly different than customer documents, which are used specifically for uploading documents for customers. In this article, we'll explain how to upload loan documents.

When you pull document information through the API the active property will show 0 for active documents. That is because this property is being used to show whether a document has been archived, so 0 means it has not been archived and is therefore active.

How To

To upload a loan document, navigate to Servicing > Documents inside any account. Next, click 'Add' in the top right.

Next, you will also need to select a section for the document from the 'Section' drop-down. The file name field will be automatically populated when you select a file.

Now, either click the drop zone to browse for your document, or drag-and-drop the document into the drop zone.

Accepted Upload File Types

Click 'Save' to save the file.

You can make the document visible to borrowers on the customer website by clicking the options icon on the right. The options menu lets you set the document as inactive, which helps you keep track of which documents are the most current on the loan. You can also download the document, edit it, or send it by mail using the mail-house service.
